Required Software and Hardware Settings Your PC

Supported Browser:

Our internet software has been developed for the Microsoft? Internet Explorer browser version 6.0 or above, as well as FireFox 2.0 and above.

If your Internet Explorer is not version 6.0 or above you will need to install Internet Explorer 7.0

How to find out if you have the right version

  1. Launch Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  2. Select Help > About Internet Explorer. The version information window will display.
  3. Minimum Version: 6.0
  4. Click OK to exit the window.

Supported Platform:

Our internet software has been developed for the Windows? platform.
Although possible, running our internet software on a platform other than Windows is not supported.

 MSXML 4.0 (not required for FireFox)

Using the latest version of the MSXML Parser allows our internet software to provide improved client-side functionality, which means less data to download over the long run. In addition, it is to your benefit to run the latest version to take advantage of the latest security and speed improvements.

Web Plugins

Supported Flash Plugin:

Using the latest version of the Flash plugin allows our internet software to provide improved client-side functionality, which means less data to download over the long run. In addition, it is to your benefit to run the latest version to take advantage of the latest security and speed improvements.

To update read the following steps and then click the link below to begin the update installation.

  1. Click here to begin install.
  2. A security window may appear:
    • If it does appear, click 'Yes' button accept updates signed by Macromedia?.
    • If the window does not appear, it means that you have already chosen to accept updates signed by Macromedia. The update will install automatically.
  3. The Flash player will install.
  4. Close the browser window displaying Macromedia's download page when the install is complete.

  
Screen Resolution
 800 x 600 and above

Changing your screen resolution:

  1. Click the Windows? Start button and select Settings, then select Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Display
  3. Click the Settings tab. You'll see information about your computer's screen area.
  4. Move the screen area slider to adjust the screen resolution.
  5. Click OK to exit.
  
Color Depth
 256 colors and above

Changing your screen color depth:

  1. Click the Windows? Start button and select Settings, then select Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Display
  3. Click the Settings tab. You'll see information about your computer's color depth.
  4. Select the color depth for the color drop down menu.
  5. Click OK to exit.

Recommended Connection Speed

A connection speed of 26 kb/sec or above is needed for our software to operate properly.

Optimizing modem connection speed:

  1. Click the Windows? Start button and select Help.
  2. In the Help Viewer click the Index tab.
  3. Enter Modems as the keyword to find.
  4. Select one of the subentries under modems.
  5. Click display to view the information.

How to find out if your computer complies

  1. Open My Computer, by double-clicking its icon on the desktop.
  2. Then click the disk you want to check.
  • The amount of free space also appears in the status bar at the bottom of the screen. If you cannot see the free space, drag the right side of the window to enlarge it.
  • If the status bar is not visible, click the View menu, and then click Status Bar.
  • If you have turned on Web content in folders, you can select the disk to display the free space on the left side of the folder window.
  • You can also view the free space and other disk properties by right-clicking the disk and then clicking Properties.
